Do you charge a consultation fee?

No. For personal injury cases, this office provides a free screening by the office staff. Mr. Tabayoyon is provided with the information from the screening. If Mr. Tabayoyon thinks you have a case he may accept based on the screening, this office will schedule a consultation with Mr. Tabayoyon.

Do I have to give you money to retain your firm?

Nope. You don't have to give this office a penny upfront to secure legal representation if we accept your personal injury case. This office takes personal injury cases on contingency. That means we don't get paid until you obtain a settlement or judgment. Sometimes, but not always, we will advance your costs such as court filing fees, deposition costs, etc.

I don't have medical insurance or any money for medical treatment for my injuries. Can you help me get treatment for my injuries?

Probably. We have relationships with many local chiropractors and other medical professionals. If you have an insurance claim, this office may be able to find a medical professional that will treat you in exchange for a lien on your claim. If this occurs, the medical professional will be paid out of the proceeds of your claim.

Also, if you have insurance, you may have medical payments coverage that we can help you use to get medical treatment pending resolution of your claim.

It's important for you to know that even if a medical insurance company pays your medical bills, you can still recover the amount of your medical bills paid by insurance from the person responsible for your injuries. The insurance company that paid your medical bills might have "subrogation" rights. That means the insurance company has a right to be repaid if you recover from another at-fault person, but you can often negotiate the amount the insurance company is reimbursed and pocket the difference for yourself.
